Building a Dream

The National Education Association is working with the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy to tell the success stories of some of the poorest and brightest girls in South Africa.

NEA is inviting teachers and students to follow these special 7th and 8th grade students on their journey as they leave their homes and families to meet new friends, test their skills and face unexpected challenges with the hope that they'll be invited to attend the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls-South Africa.

While the show is scheduled for Monday, February 26th at 10:00 P.M., it is also repeated on Saturday, March 3rd at 8:00 P.M.  Check local listings for details. A flyer and a letter for teachers and administrators  is available.
