NEA, PTA Plan the Largest Teacher Thank-You Card

The National Education Association and the PTA are offering two easy ways for people across the country to take part in creating the largest thank you card. The project runs through December 28, 2007. The cards collected will be merged into a single oversized card that will travel to major cities and events in 2008.

It's easy to participate. Individuals can send a thank you e-card by logging on to www.teacherthankyoucard.com or mail a thank you card to

Include the following:

• Your name and e-mail or mailing address
• Your teacher's name
• Your teacher's school name, city, and state
• Let your teacher know that he/she is being honored.

Give teachers the gift they really want—a simple thank-you.

A recent NEA survey showed that the gift nearly half of all teachers most want is to hear the words, "thank you." Be a part of our effort to create America's largest thank-you card dedicated to teachers and the incredible work they do.
